A Fall

Pale coffee
Stands between us, tantamountly
We stare at it
Still no kiss we share.
there is nothing left in us,
To love.
When all the sanguinity turned arid
and the whirling world paused,
We promised to love.
Love till eternity.
A novel to write and so much to love.
A malady crept in
We left hand, divesting the love
divesting the smiles.
All our favourite books fell off
the Bookshelf.
No food and all starving.
Recovery was burnt and covered with cinders
A little love could save us
But, none to travel back in Time.
No phone calls, No love, No tears.
The mirror scared me with my long journey.
Dissapointments,
with little happiness and one peaceful sleep
Because for once, my matchbox room
that echoes Failures
did reverberate Laughter.
