Daily Musings
1.
In the hour of caliginosity
amidst the tick-tock
ebbs and tides of all the memories
I have with you
brings me sleeplessness
A glance of you, wants a chance
voice of yours, wants a chance
I wish it rains tonight, I will collect the virgas
and send you my love within.
2.
the newness
embracing the old wounds
the newness
covering the tears
talks to me
delivers me the joy
to stay in love with you
I sent a prayer to the hope
asked to take up, all the noices in your head
wrap them up
with the murkiness outside your window.
3.
Unmoving walls
roof of love
silent time
And recalling yesterday.
i try to sleep
The black color outside helps me
to paint photographs
that was left untaken
A dark stained memory
adorned with the smell you left
the sea of sand
And, yesterday
is calling us back today.
4.
Tonight
the air is cold
the lights are dim
the neighborhood rests
I, on my balcony tonight
digging relics
accompanied by Nair's poetry
building glaciers of stolen memories
under which survival hides.
A hairpin falls
the words ceases to make sense
the night is cold
records of your voice is keeping me warm tonight.
5.
Summertime approaching
the night hours, with all grief
wrote to me.
I wrote back, that I will miss the cold nights
and those silent hours
the spreads of fog on the windowpane.
The night wrote to me-
You will be gone tomorrow
It is known
that you are only a phonecall away
The minutes of dialing
seems longer than the wait for re-arrival of winter.
6.
So,
now that you have heard my silent sobs
tonight,
I want to tell you
how I culminate on the past everynight.
Perhaps for a few moments
Foe everytime I relive
those abandoned hours, you seem far away,
The drunkeness of memories are fading out
Vividly, and we are growing up.
All I ask for is one day
in the foreign land of past.
7.
The last note
I shall write to nothing
The illusion of seven days
had to break sometime
Going back tonight
to the voiceless echoes of nostalgia
All the dear memories
are now touched by oblivion
disagrees to stay with me
Tonight its me
in the garden of no words and no voice.
